UniFi Protect CCTV Upgrade — Osborne Park Warehouse

An Osborne Park-based logistics operator needed to replace an ageing analogue CCTV system that was generating constant false alerts and missing real incidents at their dispatch yard. We scoped, designed and installed a complete Ubiquiti UniFi Protect surveillance stack across the warehouse, loading dock and external perimeter — 24 PoE cameras, a UNVR Pro with redundant storage, and remote viewing for the operations and security teams.

Coverage was mapped against the actual workflow — vehicle ingress, racking aisles, dispatch bays and the gate line — so every blind spot the old system had was eliminated. AI smart-detection rules now filter people, vehicles and packages separately, so security only get alerts that actually matter. Cloud backup ensures footage survives any local tampering.

The result: a single dashboard the operations manager checks from their phone, instant incident playback, and a clear ROI on insurance and shrinkage within the first quarter of operation.
